This was an interesting project for us since we had to integrate numerous API's that query various datasets, return key data and in the app itself, we set up algorithms to manage this data and present it in a visualised form so it's easy for the user to process and make sense of it.
We built a web app for B2B users on a subscription basis resulting in users completing their mandatory data processing activities 5 times quicker. The financial sector in places is quite traditional and data mismatches are very common so resulting in a lot of manual checks to verify authenticity of data processing. This system automated the procedure by returning reports and flagging missing data.
Key Features
Since this is a financial application, we had to be strict with security and reliability of returned results from our algorithms. To address this, we built additional layers of security and aligned to compliance protocols using the latest AES-256 encryption standards.
Usability was a key focus point also since most data platforms are either complicated, boring or both. Even though this is a B2B project, people are still working with the app and we want them to enjoy the experience and interactions with this SaaS product, so we made sure the design was neat, animations were fun (but not too fun) and layout was clear.
Return on Investment
The client had a small user base from their marketing and proof of concept activities, these were users that were interested in their proposal and promised to try their solution once one was built. Following the release of this platform, the ROI was very good in the first 6 months leading up to 250%. Given the platform is new and still establishing a foothold in the industry, this is a fantastic result.
This platform was built on a pay as you go approach, meaning the company pay £5,000 per month and the management is fully hands-off. This was key since that meant they were free to do business development without the hassle of daily operations, promoting the platform and speaking with future clients.
What's Next?
We see this platform growing exponentially, since as soon as they sign a large client, their revenues will grow substantially and they will be legible for our standard pay as you go model costing £20,000 per month. Given that they will be growing, onboarding more users and becoming noticeable in the industry, that increase will not be felt. Within 2-3 years, we predict their growth multiplying tenfold at least.
